With love from Jeff My best friend Claire was more than just a friend...she brought me the best years of my life. 'Life' - that word took on such new meaning for me in these last few days. It's incredible how sometimes the things you take most for granted, and all too often are so unappreciative of, can be the very same things that mean everything in the world, and so much more, to you. I wish all of you could have known Claire as I knew her. She was the most incredible of people. Not only was she blessed with incredible beauty, a great and loving supportive family, and immense talent, but also with the soul of a saint. She was truly an angel on earth. She was the one person everyone could always rely on, no matter what. I know I always depended on her to help me get through the rough times in my life...and you know what? She was always there, regardless of whether or not we were getting along. Even if she was in the middle of anything, she would stop and rush to be by my side whenever I needed her. Well Claire, now more than ever, I need you. And I know you are here, right beside me. My, and everyone who knew you's, guardian angel. So many things we planned to do, so many dreams to live out, so many regrets left lingering, so many things I wish I had said...I only find comfort in one thing: I, and everyone here, can still talk to you. I truly believe you hear us now and always will. Claire's incredible strength of character, that so often got me through the worst of times, and her unrelenting, unconditional love will forever be a part of me, as she was the most inspiring, incredible individual I could have ever hoped to meet. Claire brought out the best in me, and in everyone she knew. She was my love, my comfort, my shining guiding light, my teacher, and most of all Claire was, is and always will be, my best friend. Looking back, I smile. I smile because I consider myself the luckiest person in the world. I had the privilege of truly knowing an angel.
