Our lives are better because of Claire. Her smile warmed our hearts and touched our souls. Because of this we can never feel empty. We stand here, united as friends, because of Claire. It was her warmth and kindness that brought us together. We remember the laughs, the jokes, the tears, and all the time we spent together. But now there is someone missing. Claire is one of us and made our group whole. From driving to South Beach screaming: “Who’s on the dance floor?” to sushi, senior lunches, and endless shopping, we were all together as one. This feeling will never change because we won’t let it.

We spent hours upon hours talking about nothing, about everything, about this and about that, but now one opinion is left out. But it’s okay, it’s alright, because we’d know what she’d say and how she’d react. We’d know what she’d do and what she’d wear. We know her. She is such a unique person with so many talents and a heart filled with so much love for everyone and a smile that could brighten any corner.

She is so special to all of us. Claire touched each of our hearts and lives in her own way. We will never forget her and everything we have been through as friends, as confidants, and as companions. We go on with our lives stronger because of her, our laughs louder, our smiles bigger, our friendships stronger, our lives fuller.
